Exporting Text

Contents of HTML/Text windows can be saved. Just choose the command Save Text As from the context menu of the underlying text or HTML window.

The format can be chosen from the dialog. Files with extension *.html will be saved as HTML, all other files will be saved as plain text.

Exporting Chart Graphics

You can export your chart graphics to a file and view it separately or insert it into your own documents.

Chart graphics can be exported in the context menu of the chart windows and Sbc window. Just choose the command Export and enter the desired resolution and the file name/file format in the export dialog.

You can choose a format in the export dialog. Supported formats are

  1. Portable network graphics (*.png) - high quality and small size, default.
  2. Bitmap (*.bmp). Uncompressed, standard format under Windows.
  3. JGEP (*.jpg). Compressed, medium quality, web standard.
  4. TIF (*.tif). Standard for scanners, etc.
  5. PNM (*.pnm). High compression.
  6. PCX (*.pcx). High compression.
The style of the exported chart will be identical to the underlying chart. You can configure the pixel size of exported charts in the Export dialog.

Remark: the Graphics interchange format (*.gif) has been removed in version 4 (due to legal issues).
